Jesus said "We worship what we know", others worship a mystery - A Three-headed God is different from a ONE/ONLY GOD.

They use your bible to explain to you, how is that turning it upside down? Or is expounding the scriptures a bad thing?

Yes they acknowledged that the "truth/Light gets brighter and brighter" with time- bible truths are fully understood with time as they are fulfilled.

No, Some left the organisation on their own because Mistaken expectations.

To whom should they apologise? Why should they apologise? Did the Early christians and Apostles apologise for thinking Jesus was going to establish The Kingdom of God at that time? See Luke 19:11 "....because they suppose that the Kingdom of God was to appear IMMEDIATELY"; Compare Luke 24:21 and Acts 1:6 "So when they were together they asked him, Lord will you AT THIS TIME RESTORE THE KINGDOM TO ISREAL".

The point is the disciples of Jesus harboured a mistaken view of when God's Kingdom was to come on more than one occasion even after Jesus explanation until his ascension. They did not apologised for it, we can only speculate till the end comes. NB JW does not predict the end of this system of things they only mention prophecies/Events MARKING THE END OF THIS SYSTEM OF THINGS, They don't know the Year, Month, Day or Hour only Jehovah/The Father knows.
