Whatsapp Text Status Update Now Officially Released On App Stores by Reediano(m): 11:54pm On Mar 19, 2017

WhatsApp has been pushing out a lot of update to the app such as the group invite link, video call, voice call and many others. But the recently added video status feature didn't go down well with a lot of users.

WhatsApp introduced the new video status update to replace the traditional text update but a lot of users are not happy with it. So due to lots of negative feedback, WhatsApp has decided to return the text status.

The text status update was initially rolled out to the beta testers, but WhatsApp has decided to release it officially to all of it's users. So if you haven't received the update yet, you can go over to your app store and update.
