DO you drive a chevrolet optra or you have knowledge of the vehicle.

I drive a CHevrolet Optra

(i) My compressor sitting makes noise when i put on the AC, how do i fix this?
(ii) My fan belt jumps a lot, please what fan belt number will match my chevrolet optra perfectly?
(iii) I use AC alot and i consume about 35 litres of fuel weekly, is that on the high side ?

Year and engine size then go to rockauto.com to check on size.

That might be a bad bearing on pulley or your compressor belt is bad.

When you turn on ac spray some water on the belt then rotor and if it goes quiet for a second then that is the one to replace(pulley is the round wheels the belt rotates on)

The Year is 2005, engine size is 2.0L

the Chevrolet uses a single to run all the components, all the pulleys are connected with the same belt.

I didn't notice the #2 problem.

With a serpentine belt system you will still need to spray water on each of the pulley to isolate the noisy bad one and if your belt is jumping it means that your tensioner is bad, your belt might jump off and break replace it.

belt should be same for a 1998-2002 corolla

tensioner is same as in following cars

I use optra 2005 but I've changed the engine to Opel and its working fine but nowadays, it misses fire. As in when you are moving, it slows down as though it wants to off. I've changed the plug wires but it still . where can I get a good mechanic in Lagos please

Why replace the engine, it doesn't make sense. Either you replace the engine with the exact one that came with the car or sell the car and buy popular cars on Nigerian road
