Dude should take the 3billion offer. Anyhow you look at it, he's made for life.

Snapchat for 3 billion dollars? You don't know what you are saying
Re: How Mark Zuckerberg Is Slowly Killing Off Snapchat by temmypotter(m): 7:42am On Mar 22, 2017
Evan made a good decision not to sell at 3billion dollars, today Snapchat is worth almost 30billion dollars, that's a man with vision. Mark keeps buying everything and anything up, smart but greedy AF.

However, I believe Snapchat is big enough to go to a battle of wits with Facebook, its high time someone started using mark's tactics against them. Recall, comparing Facebook and Snapchat, Snapchat had a faster shoot in growth and fortune. Evan and Bob can leverage on that and begin to build an empire around Snapchat with more functionalities, branching out like Mark did.

NaijaTechGuy:
A while ago, Mark Zuckerberg offered $3 Billion Dollars to buy Snap Inc from Evan Spiegel but his offer was refused . Evan Spiegel who's just 25 years old had first received an email from Zuckerberg in 2012 concerning Snapchat before it went viral. Here's a snapshot of the email.

After Snapchat rejected Zuckerberg's buyout offer. Mark decided to bring the game to them, placing business on level terms. Mark took one of the features that made Snapchat stand out and expanded it to more people on his own platforms. I'll liken Mark to Pinky and the Brain-

The first blow to Snapchat was kicked off on Instagram which has over 600 million monthly active users, compared with Snapchat’s 150 million daily users. Instagram launched its own Instagram Stories just eight months ago and has already hit that same 150 million daily-user level.

The direct connection with Instagram and Facebook helped Instagram to reach that feat in such a short time. This reduced Snapchat's growth from 12% to 3%.
Snap Inc might have thought it might just stop at Instagram but Mark wasn't still satisfied with the results, he decided to open up the floodgates

The stories were added on Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp, which have billions of users. Also the stories are also coming to the main Facebook app as well. Snapchat still has a few perks Facebook hasn't copied yet but may soon copy. If Snapchat doesn't do anything, anytime soon it will become a place we all once knew.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and see what Snap Inc Comes up with to save their social network.
cool

I pray they do not go down like Snaptu did
Snaptu was never a stand alone social media platform. . Its just a channel with a link to almost all other social media platform. I saw snaptu as DOA even when it was as if it was trending.

Competition is what makes America great. The same way Rokerfeller, Carnegie, Scott Adams, JP Morgan et all did. Same way, New business tycoon and powerful ones will emerge.

For those wondering why he rejected an offer of 3billion dollars.. ..
Evan Spiegel's current net worth according to Forbes is 4.5billion dollars, talk more of snapchats worth as a whole, so why should he accept such an offer.

Moreover he could add some additional features to snap chat to make it standout from what Mark has to offer

i thought I was the only one that saw that part...
I was just telling someone same thing a few weeks back, not up to 2 weeks I think, that Mark has the power to crush it into powder and here is an article confirming my exact thought.

If not that Mark is already "niched" into social media and connections, It would have a cool feeling to watch them come into the payment processor space and crush paypal in seconds.
