1. Nigeria depend on importation of goods hence making the Naira weaker by the day.

2. We leave pressing issues and focus more on media fame ( Almost all the people in power are guilty of this)
The president wife was seen frying akara befre the election, and we have also seen some self made demi god to their people eaten on the street.

3. Oil price in global market

4. The Nigerian mentality ( Where people who are not qualified for a position getting the jobs)

5. Tribalism (The greatest weapon the colonial masters still use till date to break us in to small pieces)

Exactly. Actually, the greenback lost a bit this week. When I was in Nigeria last week, the dollar was about $1.051 to the Euro yet the difference in the exchange rate at MMIA was about 100 naira more for the Euro vis-à-vis the USD. Doesn't make sense but that's naija for you.

What is behind this artificial rise of the naira? CBN running a quantitative easing to flood the market with the dollar from the external reserves. but is that a stable or long term solution? What happens when this stimulus dries out without real production of globally desired goods and services being exported from Nigeria to really give the naira a sustainable boost? As you guessed, back to square one! I will only envy a man who has a skill set that gives him #10,000 naira a week, I can't envy a man who wa's given free #100,000, because that one go finish, but your skill set remains, go figure!

Thank God is going to be 8 years as you presumed. But still if you can remember using a human brain you would be able to comprehend of all the 16years of the PDP good governance as you like to say it, never has there been a time a NGN1 equals to a $ dollar, not even close. thought, thanks to the APC led government, they are about to make it happen in 8years, just as you predict. Still remember my brother, there is a significant difference between 16years of governance and 2years of governance. The useless government is here for just 2years.

They should allow the currency to float. I'm sure the naira was firm up to about 330 within 2 weeks. Simply throwing money at the problem isn't wise
