Not until the government forcefully influences the market, prices will never go down. Our market have no rules checkmating their excesses.

The naira strength has actually affected the price of some products positively - like phones and electronics. But in order for you to enjoy that, you'll go directly to their showrooms and stores, not third party.

I believe if the CBN measures which doesn't seem sustainable to me is continued and successfully strengthens the Naira, the government can then look into the cost of fuel also. If it can be reduced, then the government can force the market with a price margin
