There's absolutely no benefit to be derived from "na our brother be president".
It's just the feel good factor for some myopic people. I don't care where the president comes from. Just get the job done! Dassol....

Op there is simply no real benefit of presidency to the people except for bragging rights. This is what a lot of young igbos have finally realized and just don't give a damn anymore. You can see this from comments recently on nairaland.

But some people are still delusional thinking that by dangling presidency to our face, we will remain in Nigeria with them and forget about Biafra. They have already failed woefully.

Excellent topic. It shows that on national level it doesn't give much benefit. If poverty rates and economic development are factors too look at it shows policy matters than having your ethnic catagory in office.

There are no real benefits to producing the president. May one or two projects might be completed but thats about it.

Producing the president of Nigeria as one Nairalander put it is about getting 'bragging rights' to "I have produced tge president" thats all. There are little or no benefit to producing the president, infact, there is a disadvantage to it. Any zone that produces the president, if things dont go well, all other zones will blame them. Every president of Nigeria has been a hopeless disaster anyway

The is no benefit whatsoever in producing a president.
State governors are more important than presidents. That's why restructuring Nigeria will go a long way in developing Nigeria.
