The state Governors in Niger - Delta have been charged with the responsibility of stepping up their commitment to education, it is described as the only asset that will stand the test of time. While speaking on the sideline with journalists after the foundation laying of the Niger - Delta University Senate building by Governor Seriake Dickson in Amassoma, Bayelsa state, the Secretary - General of the Ijaw Youth Council ( IYC - worldwide) Comrade Parkins Ogede, said that the Governor Dickson led government has beat the imagination of many by initiating the education development trust fund (EDTF) in the state which is not only the first of its kind but it's worth emulating by the federal Government, State Governments and most especially that of the Niger - Delta region.
