PETITION TO THE MEDICAL AND DENTAL COUNCIL OF NIGERIA. The Atheist Society of Nigeria(ASN), as their first public act, has petitioned the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) concerning the practice of its medical professionals referring and encouraging patients to seek the help of faith healers rather than scientifically proven medical methods, thereby bringing the reputation and practice of the medical profession in Nigeria into disrepute.
