5 ‘O’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects at two sittings to include English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with any ONE or TWO of the following subjects as the case may be; Biology, Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Economics, Geography, Metal Work and Wood Work.

Hello, if you're asking if you can select MICROBIOLOGY then later switch to MBBS in 200 level. The answer is a big NO. Dont make that mistake please.

But you can finish with your microbiology degree, then do a direct entry into 200level MBBS. That's very possible if you have good grades.
OK thank you very much

This is wrong, its not only intra college transfers that are allowed please. Transfer from faculty of science(mostly chemistry and maybe zoology) is possible. Also human nutrition can cross to MBBS after 100 level. Its very possible please.

Except you are a student of mech in UI or you have consulted the admission office and they said otherwise, that is what UI has on her website as O'level requirements not only for mech, but all other engineering courses offered in the school.

I only know of Unilag where f/maths is compulsory for all engineering courses, and OAU and FUTA where it is an added advantage, it is not compulsory in UI.

In this case, he/she cannot change to economics. The utme combo for econs is maths, eng, econs and one of govt, geo, history, lit.

List the other subjects your friend passed, let's see if there is another option.

Let her login to her jamb profile and pay a sum of #2,500 to effect the change. Someone said one can make use of one's handset, but i'll advise she goes to a cyber cafe where a proper and smoth service will be rendered.

Cheers..

My bad!

Thank you for this important clarification Vimma. I really do not know what exactly is obtainable about the crossing stuff. I've always relied on information from students.

What do you have to say Couver?

cc: Bobola07
To the best of my knowledge, only students in Human Nutrition, Physiology and Biochemistry can cross to MB;BS or BDS. This is because these are not professional courses. Maybe it used to be possible to cross from Faculty of Science to MB;BS or BDS before but it is almost impossible now.

Is it possible to cross from faculty of science to College of Medicine??
My answer is YES . You can cross from Chemistry to Biochemistry for example though you might have to do some 100lvl courses that you didn't do now that you have crossed. And the stress isn't child's play.

Ma'am.

Up till last year,UI has always pardoned any Arts students without a Credit in Maths.Though, there have been some unconfirmed speculations that things might change this year.

Combining two O'level results shrinks one's points in O'level so I'd advise she take her mind off Neco or whatever.

Civic is not accepted as a prerequisite for any course in UI...I seriously doubt!

Using Last year's Point grading model;;;

O'LEVEL
31.667
You can check how I came about that score on the first page of the thread.

UTME
232 divided by 8 equals 29

TOTAL
60.667

The Cut off mark for Law last year was 64.95.

I'd advise she consider other courses under the Faculty of Arts like English Language and Literature which was 57.10 or Linguistics which was 57.08.

UI offers Communication and Language Arts (CLA) not Mass Communication.

The two courses are very similar if not the same.

Cut off last year was 62.91.I doubt if that's achievable for her. cry
