Hi Gazzuzz, hi house . I really need some help regarding my 2000 sienna . I observed some oil leakage jus above the front exhaust manifold. What could be the cause of the oil leak ? Secondly when I put the gear in reverse after driving the car to operating temperature, it enters with force. It enters reverse smoothly when I move in the morning. Lastly, my steering is hard again after some specialist had worked on the steering rack. After the car was returned, the steering was only soft before the engine got hot . O ga Gazzuz, my Camry 2000 has finally thrown a code P0120-TPS malfunction . After troubleshooting and replacement of fuel pump, spark plugs and fuel filter due to car hesitation. No code was shown initially and that is why I did all the replacement. Now P0120. I have confirmed the sensor Bad. Is programming required after replacement or not. Thanking you in anticipation

Hi Gazzuz.

I need help with a 2013 Kia Rio. The engine has over-heating problems (a problem with this model if abused).

I have had to replace the top gasket at least 4 times now, but the over-heating problem still persists. After the third time the gasket was replaced (this time with a double gasket) I noticed the engine began to rattle at start-up almost immediately followed by slow start-ups and finally loss of power about 9 months into use. 3 months later blown again. I have replaced the radiator, connected the fan directly yet no respite. Car is parked now. after gasket got burnt a month back. I am being advised to replace the cylinder head entirely to eliminate the problem, as the engine does not smoke, but I am wary.

What do you suggest?

Now I am looking at either of these 2 options, provided shipping costs are not prohibitive. Two concerns about this engine swap. That the donor vehicle is a RHD or an automatic transmission is immaterial right? My vehicle is manual transmission and LHD.

Oga gazuz, I am torn between a 2008 Infiniti g35, Naija used and a 2007, Lexus is350, racing tuned, (suspensions, air filter , tire mods, upgraded to 2014 front bumper. The Lexus IS 1mill more expensive than the Infiniti. I want a drivers car, I feel the Infiniti would handle better , just wondering if the suspension change on the is would make it handle better I am yet to test drive any... in your opinion would the is be more reliable and visit the Mechsnic less than the Infiniti? Is the Lexus engine as good as a vqhr engine?

Hi Gazzuzz, I'm trying to locate the Ocv filter on 1az fse engine, I just want to check its condition and maybe clean before fresh oil change. I'm having a P1653 code on the car. Attached is pictured around the Ocv itself. I also noticed oil leak around same area.
Please help a novice out.

Good morning Sir Gazzuzz. I have a friend who acquired a Toyota Matrix 2007 early this year. The first two oil changes have been with Mobil XHP but I told him that is not the recommended oil. The car is due for another oil change now, is it still advisable for him to switch to Mobil 5W-20 now?

Hope there would be no adverse effect on the engine and performance?
