Campaign against Jokes centred on our faith, Christ and the Church is gaining momentum by the day.
We now hear stand up comedians making jokes out of Bible Scenerio which is the bedrock of our Christian Living.

Don't encourage such jokes. It is making mockery of our faith, Christian preachings and trivialising the essence of such teaching and that of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Don't allow anybody get away with such jokes.
Afterall, We all shout and scream to high heavens when people of other faith fight to the teeth against anyone who attempts to speak foul of their faith or leader.
Or don't they have reasons to laugh and get excited? They jealously guard their faith and don't allow anyone make a Mockery of it.
Unfortunately, Christians allow all sorts of trivialities about our faiths thereby whittling down the essence of Christianity.

Have you considered how the psyche of Children will be affected if they read that joke which says "there will be no easter this year because Judas refused to betray Jesus" or "there will be no Christmas because Mary refused to give birth to Jesus"?

Please Christians don't allow momentary fun and laughter destroy the basis of our faith. Reprimand with respect anyone who attempts to make jokes with our dearly beloved Jesus, the church, the bible, etc. No comedian should further his or her trade with sacred issues like the ones mentioned above.
