Just heard on Sky that travellers flying from Nigeria to the US will be subjected to special thorough searches, including a pat down and that hand luggage will be thoroughly searched. This affects not only travellers from Nigeria but from Yemen, Sudan and Cuba among other nations

Na today!! From Heathrow to LAX, Dubai DXB to JFK, they've been searching Nigerians. It's not new. Previously it was for drugs , now its for terrorism.
Its not a big deal at all.

I was interrogated at JFK for the simple fact that my pockets were bulging out in a way somebody thought suspicious.
So its not new. Let's get used to it already. Maximum 20-30  minutes of your time and the frisking/interogation would be over.

You get what you derseve, WHERE IS YOUR PRESIDENT to bat for you and speak out publicly to the world community and defend his country as a non terrorist country except for one half Nigerian, half yemeni who was brainwashed in yemen.

Ojo Madueke only knows how to spend N2.5BILLION (as in BILLION NAIRA) - £10MILLION pounds in travel only in the last one year or so and cannot even be on the airwaves defending Nigeria.

Did anybody remember those lying ministers and FEC memebers including AGF Idonkia who should be tried for treasonable felony, they first lied that YAR A'FAILURE is watching footbal and later said that they took to him the supplementary budget to sign. He cannot even pick up telephone and call Obama in America or address his own people and the world press.

We surely need a bloody blood REVOULTION in this country to clear all liars.

Citizens of 14 nations, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria who are flying to the United States, will be subjected indefinitely to the intense screening at airports worldwide that was imposed in the aftermath of the Christmas Day bombing plot, Obama administration officials announced Sunday.

But American citizens, and most others who are not flying through those nations on their way to the United States, will no longer automatically face the full-range of intensified security that had been imposed after the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight, officials said.

For Americans, the change represents an easing of the immediate response to the attempting bombing of the flight from Amsterdam to Detroit. But the action on Sunday further establishes a global security system that treats people differently based on what country they are from, evoking immediate protests from civil rights groups Sunday.

Citizens of Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria, which are considered “state sponsors of terrorism” as well as citizens from “countries of interest” that consist of Afghanistan, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, and Yemen, will also face the special scrutiny, officials said.

Passengers holding passports from those nations, or taking flights that originated or passed through any of these countries, will be required to undergo a full-body pat-down and extra scrutiny of their carry-on bags before they can board a plane to the United States

Was watching CNN just now and saw some snippets of the intensified security screenings. It's no joke.
Dogs all over, security officers located at strategic areas of the airport with automatic weapons, airport security staff patting people down . . . private parts included.

I guess that's the price we gotta pay.
