I want to get real value for my money just like I do with my hot 2. In fact, the only reason why I want a change is for a better camera, and the fact that some rooting by a friend has made it impossible for me to update it to marshmallow. Plus I've repaired the screen twice already yet it's about to start messing up again.

The specs I want:

Back camera - 13mp + /autofocus
Front camera - 5mp +
Battery - 2300 amp +
RAM - 2G
Good screen touch
I should be able to update it myself just like hot 2
It shouldn't be too heavy

Any other spec is secondary. Please all I have is N30, 000. I'm being advised not to go for Tecno, I heard they don't last long. Thanks for your suggestions.

Go buy fairly used tecno c8 from slot. Only phone you can get for that price or tecno j8 if you had extra 10-18k.

I didn't know slot sells fairly used phones. Besides, I'd rather not buy a fairly used phone. The ram of the one you mentioned is also 1G.

1gb ram is okay for you naw.

Olx also sells, just check for good ones. Some clean ones there too.

Go to aliexpress, according to people. There are good phones for less sef.

@Izen, you can get a Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Leagoo MI, etc with those specs within your budget.

You'll have to order from China so there's a shipping time of 2-3 weeks.
