Mexico, is a North American country located between the U.S. and Central America. It is renowned for its beautiful Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches and diverse landscape of mountains, deserts and jungles. Note that before you can study to study in Mexico as a foreign student, you will be required to have knowledge of Spanish.Although there are a number of private institutions offering courses in English. There are lots of low tuition universities in Mexico for International students. Tuition Fees

Tuition fees at universities in Mexico are not the same for every university as different universities set what they charge from students. This is also strongly affected by your chosen study program. Programs like Medicine cost more than some other less competitive courses. However, the average costs of higher education can be estimated at US$5,000 per year. Public universities in Mexico charge amounts between the range of US$400 and US$900 annually for undergraduate programs, while Private institutions charge between US$1,600 and US$16,500 per year.

Cost of Living

Cost of living in Mexico is extremely low especially when compared to other developed countries in the world. For instance, accommodation in Mexico’s main towns usually cost between US$150-200 monthly. But if you desire to make this lower, you can decide to live in the minor cities in Mexico. Also, transportation cost within Mexico is very low and affordable, with the metro train costing US$3 per day for unlimited use and buses costing US$2 per journey. How low is that? As an estimated amount based on real life research, as an international student, you need to budget about $500 for your expenses to include feeding, buying of books, transport, etc.

How to apply and Requirements

As an international student, you can only apply to an institution in Mexico by applying directly using the admission section of the university. To achieve this, you have to visit the webpage of the University for Proper Guidance, locate the admissions department. The admission requirements are not the same for all institutions but you may be asked to take an entrance exam, and/or a test of language proficiency depending on your country of residence.
