Real Madrid striker, Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with Karim Benzema ahead of him in the pecking order at the club.

The report also states there were meetings with several European clubs. The Spaniard’s girlfriend has reportedly been house-hunting ahead of a move to London. Álvaro Borja Morata Martín is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Real Madrid and the Spain national team as a striker and was born on October 23, 1992.

The Spaniard has managed to bag 19 goals this season in all competitions despite only starting 17 games. The 24-year-old's lack of playing time has reportedly left him frustrated and he is ready to leave Madrid.

And, according to Diario Gol, Morata has given the green light for his agent to broker a move to Chelsea when the transfer window opens. The Blues have been tracking the striker for over a year now and they are expected to step up their interest in case Diego Costa leaves.

Costa is a target for Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian and it has been reported they will fork over as much as £75million to get a deal over the line.
