It’s no longer news that Sean Diddy Combs, better known as Puff Daddy, has been the front line money man in the world’s Music Industry and in this year’s 2017 Forbes release of the top 5 Wealthiest hip hops artistes, he dared to maintain
his throne at the number spot.
If there is only one person in the world who doesn’t like that, probably you should think of Jay Z. Although his wealth went up a whole 30 percent more only last year, bringing his net worth to an estimated 810 million dollars, it still wasn’t enough to see Sean Diddy at the second place. The Forbes annual list released on the 10th May, 2017, showed that Combs was able to stay ahead of Jay Z with just 10 million USD.
I guess Jay should just make that money next week and complete this damn thing!!
Anyway, Combs won’t be sleeping at all, as according to Forbes, he was able to stay top yet this year with 820 million dollars. Thanks to his “money birthed” deals with Ciroc Vodka, and his very own Sean John clothing.
Rapper and Producer Jay Z, on the other hand, flunked himself to the second place with 810 million dollars. According to Forbes, Jay Z's portfolio met protrusion with a champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, and the popular entertainment firm, Roc Nation
Wow! Jay Z run quick! quick!! quick!!
Mmh (-()-)
Please let’s get serious here; we are talking money.
To complete the five man richest musicians, came Dr. Dre, with his $740 million, Bryan Williams, whom you call “Birdman” stood on the fourth floor with his $110 million, and Canadian rapper, everybody’s Drake, rented the fifth floor with his 90 million dollars.
Man!!!!! This guys are rich yoh.
Whatever!
But if you’re wondering how Forbes got the list, first of all , they looked at these big boy’s past earnings and financial documents, valuing current holdings, and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, and other industry players.
The list is:
Puff Daddy $820
Jay Z $810
Dr. Dre $740
Birdman $110 million
Drake $90 million
