Enugu is so interesting and citizens re very friendly with a total different orientation. Though they have there flaws-gang wars, it still remains the best destination in the East before Imo state The duos re so advanced and civilised 5 Likes 1 Share |

Enugu has the largest landmass in Igboland, and also the most beautiful landscape. We also have the most cosmopolitan city in the East. One of the most attractive side of Enugu is the food. Yes, our Soul food is second to non in Igboland. Akidi, Abacha, Achicha, Okpa, Fiofio, and Ukwa are deliciously cooked to satisfy your hunger for nutrients. The best palm wine is home in villages around Enugu. Sports wise, Coal City has produced Olympic medalists for Nigeria. Enugu Rangers has produced notable footballers for Nigeria and European clubs. Coal City will always aim to be the best in offering its citizens and visitors a memorable city experience. 6 Likes |

Olu20090: Very true. Enugu people are very welcoming. It took me until i lived in other Igbo states to understand that Enugu people are very advanced in their mentality. Holidays is best spent there. Never a dull moment or environment. Enugu loves advancement and Obodo oyibo lifestyle.. Here is the town i respect most in Nigeria.. 2 Likes |

Olu20090:You are right. Enugu, Owerri, Abuja & Calabar are Nigerias most beautiful cities. Though Calabar is very beautiful, it is not stratically located, being at the fringe or extreme corner makes it difficult to access. Decent areas in Abuja are way too expensive and unaffordable and other areas are drab and dusty. Owerri & Enugu meets all the criteria like easy access, not too expensive and nice areas to live, good night life etc. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

MrEverest: I lived in Abuja, Kaduna, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Enugu. If I had to choose, it's Enugu. Some people might try to argue...Abuja and Lagos are well developed, I tell them...that's not the point, it's the QUALITY OF LIFE THAT ENUGU AFFORDS. New York may be 10x well developed and bigger than Zurich, Switzerland and Brussels, Belgium, but the quality of life in Zurich and Brussels is 10x more than New York. When I brought my wife and kids from abroad few yrs ago before I built my house, I cleverly had them stay with me in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Enugu, each city for 1 month. After 4 months, I asked them to pick a city where I'll build our house, can you believe that all of them, my wife and 3 kids shouted Enugu. That was the end of the discussion. The next day I flew to Enugu, contacted a friend and bought a land where I built my house next to a hill. Mind you, my wife is not a Nigerian nor black, nor had had she and my kids ever stepped feet in Nigeria prior to my experimentation. They visit once or twice a year, and they are very happy in Enugu...that gives me joy. 12 Likes 8 Shares |

toyinjimoh:I'm afraid your dream may remain utopian considering the attitude of the average Kogi man towards Lokoja. Non of the disparate ethnic groups in the state identifies with it. The Igala man would rather build his mansion in Anyigba. The Igbirra Man would choose Okene, while the Okun man would choose Kabba. Lokoja is like an orphan, right from Ganaja, Felele, Lokongoma etc the town reeks of absolute backwardness as a state capital. Despite having a lot of potentials for tourism like Niger-benue confluence, mount patti, several monuments and cenotaph built by the British etc yet nothing was done to enhance them rather the whole stretch of the rivers Niger & Benue were converted into the worlds largest open toilet! If not for Dangote cement and Igbo investments Lokoja would have been a dead zone. |
