The guy is only assuming what has never been made public. It will only make sense if Nwosu declares of which he can still win because Orlu is majority. In Rivers State Igbo-speaking upland has held sway for 20 years and may even make it 24 years if Wike returns 2019.

It is true that Rochas wants to install his son in law as governor. But I know this much. This nonsense will not happen in our own imo state

I can guarantee you that

Let us wait till he declares but the truth is that the way some people are going about it will make it an easy ride if he actually does contest.

This is why I keep "angitating" on Nairaland

We Igbos are our own greatest enemies

Nepotism and favoritism are killing us in igboland more than Fulani herdsmen

An igbo man would rather give opportunities to someone close to him rather than a competent personnel. My people are just too greedy

Why can't we be like our Afonja masters and Nothern tormentors?

This same Okorocha bought 500 Toyota cars for the urban taxi project and not a single side mirror from Innoson motors

This same Okorocha spent 600 million naira on a Christmas tree and left our pensioners in Imo state to die of hunger

We Igbos keep making noise about how united we are, but we're really divided.

It's the same way Ojukwu led our mothers and fathers into slaughter, but fled to Ivory Coast when we needed him most

We have to realise our Afonja masters don't care about us and it's why they've made our Nothern tormentors their allies

Let us take cue from our Afonja masters and Nothern tormentors

May Chukwu Okike Abiama continue to bless us

Point of correction

This guy won election under APGA

He changed party with the people's mandate
He used power incumbency and rigging to get re-elected

Gibson Achonu, Owerri

Ahead of the 2019 general elections in the country, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and a former member of the House of Representatives (Owerri Federal Constituency), Mr. Uche Onyeagocha, has raised the alarm that Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, is plotting to make his son-in-law who also doubles as his Chief of Staff, Uche Nwosu, his successor.

Onyeagocha, who is also a human rights lawyer, said it was the reason Okorocha had floated the Ugwumba Movement and appointed Uche Nwosu to run it.

Onyeagocha dismissed Okorocha’s arguments that “at no time in the history of the state did any party abdicate its governorship ticket to any zone without a contest from other zones,” recalling that in 2015, the APC zoned its governorship ticket to Orlu zone, with nobody from Okigwe or Owerri zone contesting for it.

“In fact, the ticket was preserved precisely for Okorocha family; when he went out to contest for the presidency, his son-in-law held the governorship ticket in waiting for him, not because there was no credible person from other zones but it was done in good faith,” Onyeagocha said.

Insisting on the “principle of Imo charter of equity” which rotates the governorship seat among the three zones of Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe, Onyeagocha said the people of Imo State, comprising Orlu, Okigwe and Owerri, were united and irrevocably resolved that Uche Nwosu will not succeed his father-in-law.

“We therefore respectfully urge His Excellency Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha to discountenance any advice in this direction as nothing but the handiwork of undertakers, enemies and mischief makers who have set out to rubbish his political career.

“We also urge him to focus on his presidential ambition in the interest of Nd’Igbo,” Onyeagocha counselled.

Uche Nwosu learnt politics from Rochas Okorocha.

So Nwosu politics can't be different from Okorocha's.

Okorocha politics is:

collect the federal allocations of Imo State and the allocations of its 27 lags.

Return to Owerri to demolish existing infrastructures in Owerri, thereafter, build structures that fancy Okorocha in Owerri and in his Ogboko community in Ideato.
Dualize two to three kilometers of roads in Okigwe and Orlu, a few rural roads, schools and a jumbo 27 hospitals the state can't sustain.

Owelle has no plan for overall development of Imo state outside Owerri and his vilage in Ideato.

Uche Nwosu learnt politics from Okorocha. So Nwosu can't be different from Okorocha.
Orlu and Okigwe - the once growing two cities in Imo state have suffered severe set backs since Okorocha government

In addition to the taxis, Okorocha also bought scores of buses - but all for his State Capital, Owerri.

No politically matured state governor would hold people not living in the state capital with that level of disdain.

In a video, Okorocha officially declared every locality in Imo state outside Owerri as RURAL areas. This is his tactic to offset money that should have gone for provision of urban infrastructures in places outside Owerri.

Abagworo,

Does Nwosu recognize that he is from Orlu zone?

Frequently, Nwosu is seen inspecting development projects in Owerri.

Where in Orlu zone had Nwosu been seen inspecting development projects?

If he takes Orlu as his zone, let him start now. Let him make Okorocha complete Orlu drainage project started by late gov Ikwechegh, complete the scrapped roads abandoned by Okorocha in Orlu since six years, complete the many rural roads in Orlu zone started by this government Long ago, promise Orlu zone that as governor, he shall start Orlu Regional Water Supply Scheme still owed Orlu by Imo state govt. The water scheme was designed to supply water to nearly all the 12 lgas in Orlu zone.

Okorocha and Nwosu complete projects they started in Owerri in record time.

Something is definitely wrong with Orlu people. That area has produced Imo governors for 14 of the last 18 years and it is still as backwards as ever.
