As the nation marks another year of uninterrupted democracy, Nigerians at home and Diaspora has been enjoined to remain committed to actions or inactions that will sincerely bridge the gap between the indices that separates us as people thereby projecting the image of the nation in good light.

The Convener, Integration Summit Group-Nigeria, Dr Chris Ekiyor who made the call in a message to Nigerians on the Democracy Day celebration said that National Integration remains the solution to the myriad of problems bedeviling the nation at this time.

The message reads in part: “If we do the right things without religious, ethnic or political sentiments, we will come out stronger and better. Every Nation has its challenges at one point or another. Nigeria’s situation is not different from what is obtainable in other climes”.

“Our political class must ensure that the welfare and agitations of the people supersedes their personal interest. This is the way to go in order re-affirm the confidence of the people in governance.”

“It does not matter the tribe, religion or political block the individual comes from but the capacity of whoever is saddled with definite responsibility to deliver on the mandate given”.
“Until we learn to integrate with our people and throw away our parochial inclinations, we will continue to experience National challenges”.

“I therefore call on Nigerians to put Nigeria first in their daily life while I congratulate them on this Democracy day with the strong conviction that things will turn around for the better”

Meanwhile activities are in top gear for the 5th National integration Summit that will parade strategic thinkers to discuss Nigeria from within and outside the country, organized by Integration Summit Group-Nigeria on October 7th at Arewa House, Kaduna, Kaduna State.

National integration can not work in the present state of nigeria which is self evident in buhari's administration, and so shall it continue.
