Who is marginalising the Igbo's by Nobody: 7:46pm On May 31, 2017 |
The enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo itself. I remember a time in this country when all the 6 ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge of finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was the powerful minister for oil. The 6 of them outside the Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be the position of government. In 6 years, this was the situation. Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets. Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad. The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in the SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money. Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned. Who is to blame? Who is marginalising the Igbo's? You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only one Yoruba minister worth mentioning at the time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labor had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after Jonathan, will there be any difference? The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Igbos are really smashing some iddiot's oblong skulls for them to be creating topics upon topics because of one tribe. Not only that unity beggars are getting frustrated, majority of them are also getting mad. Imagine, always thinking about people that despise you and refused to identify with you.. Obsession is real. 3 Likes |

Everybody take a pause for one moment. let us just imagine a world were One-Nigerianists applied all their analytical views towards bettering Nigeria and its horrible leaders and government instead of obsessing over igbos and biafra with useless unwarranted and uninvited criticisms, advices and opinions. Just imagine what that world would be like. 2 Likes |

backtosender: They seriously have no shame. That's why the IPOB movement grew so fast since 2015 because people with brains can easily see through their hypocrisy. 2 Likes |

@op the people you mentioned were in government and they worked for the good of the country. They were there when... New federal universities were equitably established among the six go zones. They didn't stop the almajiri schools The Abuja -kd standard rails The power reforms were spear headed by nnaji for the whole country. They didn't stop the Benin Ore sagamu highway that obj could not do anything about. The agric revolution and dry season farming where mainly in the North. Airports were rehabilitated all over the country. But look at Buhari /osibanjo,can you tell us why he stopped the 2 Niger bridge, abandoned the Enugu ph exp rd, the East west rd. Etc And please stop all the lies that they shared the money, all this projects were on going before Buhari came and stopped them. And how come they didn't also share the money meant for the Abuja kd rail the Buhari completed and commissioned. |
