Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano has erected a Transparent Wall of Honor at the Cenotaph in Alex Ekwueme Square containing the names of all heroes past in remembrance of Late Biafran heroes.

Speaking at the memorial event, Governor Obiano stressed the need to keep remembering our heroes past while we celebrate them for the bravery they showed.

Obiano said: "Without memory, life assumes the attributes of a futile gaze into the void of time....Let's Celebrate the bravery of these great spirits who lost their lives yesterday that we may find peace today"

my brother your speaking as if your not in this Nigeria, all politicians are the same even if you vote them in under IPOB assuming it is a political party, when they get to power they will swap to apc, I really know what am saying and am grounded in politics. the best thing is not to participate in any election in Nigeria be it governors or president that we show that will are serious. if what happened yesterday is to happen in 2019 election, then I can assure you that Nigeria will collapse, because it will become an inconclusive election and no president will be sworn in, and if the ask for re-vote and the earlier still remain the response of the old eastern region then it will mean that Nigeria has become a failed state. no president can be sworn in when one third of the country has less than one percent vote. please don't compare Nigeria with Catalonia because mentality is different. in Catalonia protest was stage and no one was killed but In Nigeria, such happens and thousands of innocent souls perished. it remains NO to election in BiafraLand.
