This politics of foreign land where we have no say is totally annoying when we pretend we can do something. In NIgeria we can do something, I recommend to break down of law and order in all the major state of the country and vicious "MUTALLABING" any known politician in government this way we can save Nigeria, MUTALLABING starts now! |

rasputinn: That's a very valid point. No one has actually come out to talk about the safety or otherwise of these machines. I've heard some manufacturers claim that since these things are millimeter waves & not x-rays, then they're safe. I don't believe it sha. In 10 or 20 yrs, some wiz kid will discover that frequent fliers tend to have some cancer or d other & find out that it's because of these machines. The amazing part of it all is: 1. This machine may not have even caught Abdulmutallab 2. No one is talking about the negligent failure of the US intelligence system, which caused all this All they're focusing on is to bring these machines to full use (they've only been optional in the few airports where deployed) and to label "innocent" Nigeria as a country with terrorist links |

GNBohr: I do not only concur with you brilliant speech i feel like eating the words because it is sweet to eat. This has been my campaign on NL in the face of the recent terrorism scare. Body scanners will not solve anything, do people ever think that every time a rule is passed terrorist simply develop a new style. First it was shoe bomb, we had to remove our shoes and pass it through a scanner, then it was liquid bomb , every liquid was banned on planes, now it is powder bomb which and body scanners are implemented. It is interesting to not the wholesale producers of this body scanners are Israeli companies, somebody s got to make the money. Each scanners cost like £100,000 somebody do the maths by multiplying by the countries of the world with each airport having at least 3 scanners plus maintenance fees and replacement. |
