Dear Nairalanders, I am planning for a journey to Bida (Niger State). Please how can I get there via road cos I haven't been there before.

Can I get a direct bus from Lagos to Bida ?

Take bus to Ilorin. From Ilorin central motor park you will get Bida vehicle. Good luck

Take a bus to Minna, tell the driver to drop you at Bida. Bida is on the way to Minna (1Hr).

Yes you can. I used to take from Oyingbo (near mainland hotel) but not sure if they still leave from there.

Go to Iddo after Oyingbo, you will get NSTA bus going to minna or bida, that is Niger state transport. Try to be there latest 6.30. The journey is at least 9hrs, depending on the road now and driver

I went to Oyingbo Lagos this morning and were able to locate NSTA(Niger State Transport Authority) bus pack, and we've arrived at Bida. Thanks anyway.
