feelgoods:For National Identification Number (NIN) of NIMC you can pre-enrol your self at https://www.nimc.gov.ng ,print out the pre-enrolment slip, then go for capturing in their offices located in various L.G.A's but if you are not a computer geek or you can not do the pre-enrolment by your self then allow them to pre-enrol you and capture you.It doesn't waist time. |

On whether there's going to be a second list...? Nothing like second list. Any list that will come after this very one is the 'Awaiting list' It comes about as a result of those that will be disqualified during physical verification due to and need to be replaced: Over age, no discharge certificate or exemption letter (HND & BSC Holders only), those who applied with O'level, and those that absent themselves during physical verification. Employed, those that cannot prove that they are residents of their respective areas, or anyone who was not able to meet up with the requirement... These are the essence of physical verification: All fake persons will be disqualified and replaced with good ones. Thousands will be disqualified as a result of such for sure, thereby creating a chance for the better ones |

The 2016 shortlisted applicants (Awaiting list) would partake in the physical verification alongside the 2017 pre-selected applicant. |
Re: N-Power Lagos Thread by AutosBay(m): 12:38pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
ARE YOU PONDERING WHAT AM PONDERING? As I noticed people's reaction towards the process of selecting new applicants into this program, I smile and one thing is this, you can't compare the selection process of last year to this year because of rapid increase in the number of applicants for this year. Last year, a little bit above 720000 applied for this program and out of the number, about 40% percent (200,000) were shortlisted and Lagos alone got 11,000+ guess what? Lagos state government ridicule the program in the state, in fact their lackadaisical attitude towards this program was clearly seen even Mr. Afolabi attested to this during interactive session held early this year. In fact, just of recent, the vice president had to sent Mr. Ismaeel, SSA to Lagos because they 're not feeling the impact of this program as far as this state is concern. From the above analysis, one would expect that the slot that will be given to Lagos for this 2017 maybe nothing compare to 2016. Now looking at the analysis; STATE WITH THE HIGHEST APPLICATION FOR 2017 Lagos state has the highest number of applicants (174, 994) as against last year and the total number of applicants is 2.543.079 almost times 3 of those the number that applied last year. The truth of the matter is the slot that will be given to Lagos may be extremely lower than that of last year. The reason is simple, Lagos state government disappointed the federal government as far as this program is concern. This means we shouldn't expect more from the FG as far as 2017 is shorlisting is concern. In fact I could remember the words of Barrister Ismaeel when he visited Lagos volunteers last week Monday, he said and I quote "We're not happy with the way the program is being run in Lagos state, in fact we can as well canceal Npower in Lagos state if things don't improve, we don't have impactful testimonies as far as this state is concern and that is why we 're here, we want to hear your challenges and impactful story of how this program has added to you" With the above, I fear what will become of Lagos applicants for 2017. Let's not begin to rubbish the transparency of this program. Let's wait to hear from the horse's mouth today. For Lagos, let's not give up yet, there is still hope. |

*Npower Update:* _Many people have called me to complain about a certain list making rounds which is about 89 pages as the 2017 Npower list. It is laughable because you can’t fit 150,000 names in 89 pages let alone 300,000._ _So Please disregard any LIST. We did not release any LIST this year. What we asked is for applicants to LOG ON TO OUR PORTAL AND INPUT THEIR NAMES AND UNIQUE REFERENCE NUMBERS and it will display their status. Also the portal is being updated as we go along so even if you check and they tell you to have not been preselected just calm down and check in a few days, say 2 days and by then it would have hopefully updated._ _I told the technical team to ensure that we have an updated portal and to report back to me with breakdown of every state and local government as represented. Once that is done I will update you. But please just keep checking and disregard the mischievous list going round._ _Thank you._ *Ismaeel Ahmed* *SSA to President Buhari on Social Investment.* |
Re: N-Power Lagos Thread by AutosBay(m): 6:18pm On Nov 23, 2017 |
Why was NpowerNG2017 so competitive? That’s simple. During the 2016 application process no one ever believed that a federal job program or application could be fair without political influence. But it was fair and the world was amazed that such is happening in Nigeria for the first time. Second, the federal government promised that the 200,000 successful volunteers would be paid N30,000 each per month. And they began the payment beginning from December 2016. Meaning the FG started paying 6billion Nigerian Naira per month to the successful applicants. Third, the number of applications in 2016 was low because people thought it’s a usual business. Nigerians had their hopes dashed in the past administrations. There was lack of trust until the government started paying. Another reason for the large turn out of applications in the 2017 is the promise fulfilled about the Npowerng device tablets given out to its first batch of 2016 applicants. The cheapest of the device ranges between 65,000-75,000 Naira. That has never happened in the history of Nigerian government. Whether we like it or not, FG should be given the kudos for the innovative idea. Unemployment would have reduced to some level if beginning from 1999 this kind of program had started. Accumulation of unemployment started long time ago. So how did the 36 states fared in the application? Let’s take quick look at the number of applications received from each state. Disclaimer : The figure we’re about to share was got from photo shared by NpowerNG on its social media platforms. We couldn’t see some of the figures clearly, so while some may be the exact figure a few others may be slightly different. In a situation where we couldn’t get the exact figure we will use the nearest figure or we simply approximate. Please visit npowerng social media channels to download and check the photo maybe you’d be lucky to see more clearly. *_Mr Afolabi Warned Volunteers To Desist From Forming Aluta Group To Cause Provocatives_* Mr Afolabi in his latest Facebook LIVE Video chat which took place yesterday the 23th of November, 2017, he made something clear which every Npower volunteers should take seriously. He Warned Volunteers To Desist From Forming Aluta Group agitating for permanence. In the video, Mr Afolabi stated that some Volunteers after been given the opportunity to participate in the FG social investment programme (NPower) you now decided to form some type of aluta group, provocative group advocating for what is not practically possible, that is not thourated. According to Afolabi, they have all the Names and Numbers of ring leaders who are forming group of advocacy for permanency of NPower programme. He thought to address you publicly first before he start addressing some of you. Please desist from such insightful groupings he warned. He however stated that they have not relent on any of their promises on the purpose of NPower and any of the promises the President and his vice made to Nigerians during their campaign promises. He said one of the things he said to volunteers earlier during the year is that every promises that the president made to you will be fulfill and the stand on that. Nevertheless, what they are concerned about is how you beneficiaries exit from the programme, how you exit into entrepreneurship, how you exit into collaborative cooperative opportunities and how some of you will also exit into available jobs that are out there. Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede advice beneficiaries to take their responsibilities at their PPA seriously in order to tap into the opportunities at your place of assignment by displaying the right attitude to work, showing up at work, if you are not relevant at work there is No employer that will want to retained you ( who wants to retained an Aluta champion) so he said. He finally advice beneficiaries not to take advantage of being in the NPower Programme to cause provocative or insight Nigerians or your fellow beneficiaries to cause confusion. #StayTrue #NpowerVolunteers #GovtAtWorkNG |

N-Power, Federal Government empowerment scheme, on Friday distanced itself from the list of successful candidates being circulated online. The scheme urged Nigerians to disregard the list as it’s not authentic. In a terse statement on its official website, the scheme said at the appropriate time, the list would be shared with “National and State stakeholders.” The statement reads, “Good morning “Please disregard any N-Power list you see floating on the internet. “At the appropriate time, we will share lists with our National and state stakeholders .” |

N-power reveals how next successful candidates will be picked Published on November 24, 2017 By John Owen Nwachukwu The federal government social intervention scheme, N-Power, has assured applicants that more successful candidates “would be picked from the awaiting list.” In a series of tweets on its official twitter handle, the scheme also warned that selected participants who are already engaged in some other jobs should “exit the programme.” The scheme also confirmed that “We didn’t release any list” rather chose to inform preselected persons individually. N-Power had announced that candidates would be able to check their status from 11:30 pm last Monday but failed to publish the list, citing due to technical issues. It further explained that scores were not sent to participants while advising “each applicant is to log on to npower.gov.ng to check their pre-selection status.” |

N-Power begins physical verification of 300,000 volunteers Dec. 4 ON NOVEMBER 24, 2017 The 300,000 candidates pre-selected under the Federal Government’s N-Power Scheme will undergo its physical verification phase from Dec. 4 to Dec. 14 in the 774 local government areas of the country. N-Power: record 750,000 graduates apply The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation/Youth Employment, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede said the verification would be done with the N-Power stakeholders in the states such as the National Orientation Agency, N-Power State team, National Assembly Monitors and Observers. Imoukhuede explained that pre-selection could not be equated to final recruitment as those who fell short of the verification criteria and made faulty declarations in their applications would still be disqualified. Accordingly, the presidential aide noted that after the compilation of successfully verified candidates, the final selection would be done followed by the deployment of the volunteers in the Agro, Teach, and Health categories across the country. He noted that out of 2.54 million applicants, 2.25 million had their Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) validated prior to the assessment test phase while only 1.75 million responded to invitations to write tests. In the State-by-State application breakdown, the North West geo-political zone had 33,039 applicants from Jigawa; 113,960 from Kaduna; 97,748 from Kano; 40,742 from Katsina; 30,975 from Kebbi; 22,501 from Sokoto and 32,186 from Zamfara. From the North East, 50,552 applications came from Adamawa; Bauchi had 51,920; Borno had 55,264; Gombe had 27,980; Taraba had 36,987 while Yobe had 32,201. In North Central, FCT led with 120,198 applications followed by Benue with 89,734 and Kwara with 77,338 while Niger had 73,236 applications; Nasarawa with 72,732; Plateau with 68,955 and Kogi with 61,789. Enugu State led the applications in the South East with 81,891 followed by Anambra with 61,075 and Imo with 60,283; while Abia had 54,216 and Ebonyi with 39,030 applications. In the South West, Lagos had 174,994 applications; Oyo had 133,281; Osun had 87,281; Ekiti had 37,594; Ogun had 74,940 while Ondo had 69,224 applications. The highest applications from the South South came from Rivers with 145,773 followed by Delta with 106,509 and Edo with 63,507. Others are Akwa Ibom with 56,143; Bayelsa with 23,659 and Cross River with 49,596. From the statistics, states with highest applications were Lagos, Rivers, Oyo, FCT and Kaduna in while states with the lowest were Sokoto, Bayelsa, Gombe, Kebbi and Zamfara. Imoukhuede observed that the selection process was transparent with the first priority being the full validation of BVN to payment account details of applicants, to avoid a repeat of inability to pay any of the new volunteers as a result of unmatched payment details. He further stated that other factors considered were equity and fairness by linking selection to population, using federal constituencies and addressing demand distribution of unemployed graduates across the country. He added that the process considered correcting the deployment/utilization challenges arising from the 2016 edition as well as rural-urban distribution balance where priority was given to rural areas especially N-Agro applicants. The first batch of 200,000 graduates will, in December 2017, begin their second year of the two-year paid volunteer scheme, while the process of mobilising and deploying non-graduate programme began about a month ago. |

N-Power: Scheme addresses pre-selection complaints Published on November 25, 2017 By Fikayo Olowolagba N-Power, Federal Government empowerment scheme, has urged Nigerians to expose candidates, who bribed their way to be selected. The scheme had earlier released the criteria used in pre-selecting candidates for the physical verification. However, many Nigerians on social media had alleged that some people were not selected based on merits. Responding to the allegation on Twitter, the scheme challenged anyone with useful information on alleged bribe in the pre-selection process to open up. “The NPower Challenge. We challenge the 2017 pre-selected applicants to tell us if they knew anyone before they were pre-selected,” it tweeted. |
