A recent visit to the city of baga in Borno on the lake Chad called to mind that a century ago, the lake Chad region hold half the world oil reserves. 6 years ago, the battle of Boko Haram begins, one of the bloodiest of Terrorist war, the western bogy war to control large, part over who controlled those vast oil reserves . Today, the region has little to show for it. Still relatively poor and underdeveloped, and environmentally one of the most devastated in the world, it now sees. it will soon start seen it's salvation once again in the promise of newly discovered oil reserves. And once again, Western oil companies and political strategists are showing greater interest in the region as it embarks on a project to build the region through NGOs.

But there is no escaping that the region that has grabbed the greatest global attention during the past 6 years such as bring back our girls, or matters of resources , the North, remains critical for future energy supplies. In a way, all the scrambling to develop resources around the world today is intended to delay the day of reckoning. Although the north, holds between two-thirds and three-quarters of all known resources reserves. For that reason the United States and the West have continued to define the region as being vitally important just As the Middle East, and destabilize the region for now to keep the Chinese at bay, so yes we want igbos to leave the north, and we will take the war to them inside biafra land, just like South Sudan, let's the geopolitical chess move begins, we are ready,.. And yes I was in the meeting. Including deputy UN sec.

Lying blatantly about something easily verifiable shows you lack critical thinking.

At no point in history has the Lake Chad held half the world reserves nor does the north hold any appreciable proven reserve that can even be called a pip.

65% of the proven oil reserves in the world are in the middle east. http://www.opec.org/opec_web/en/data_graphs/330.htm

Nigeria has the largest proven oil reserves in Africa and one of the top ten proven gas reserves in the world. Over 90% of these reserves are in the Niger Delta. http://www.nipc.gov.ng/oil&gaspage.html. https://www.indexmundi.com/energy/?country=ng&product=oil&graph=reserves

Facts are the building block of reasoning. It will be irrational of you to argue against that.

Uranium: encouraging signs and exploration in full swing. Exploration is currently being carried out by several companies with clear indications of deposits of uranium in Northern Nigeria . Uranium potential is located in the Damasak area which covers 150 km² of the bina- North Guinea basin, a Neoproterozoic sedimentary basin marked by significant radiometric anomalies. Uranium potential in Bina is thought to be 5000 tonnes. The nguru Project, in the north eastern part of Nigeria, with an area of 19,930 km2, the project covers a large crystalline geological province known as samma kande. Uranium potential in the Samit deposit, NE region alone is thought to be 200 tonnes.

Gold: Northern Nigeria: Africa’s largest gold reserves with large scale exploration ongoing. Northern Nigeria has been famous for its gold since the days of the great kanem empire to Dan fudio and the pilgrimage to Mecca of the shehu's in 1324, on his caravan he carried more than 8 tonnes of gold! Northern Nigeria has therefore been traditionally a mining country for over half a millennium.
Northern Nigeria currently has seven operating gold mines which include: Zamfara, and most part of north western. mines which have recently restarted but stopped due to illegal mining.

Africa's largest gold reserve is in Algeria. Nigeria is 6th in Africa and 61st in the world. Gold contributes an astounding 0.3% of GDP.

Diamonds: northern Nigeria has potential to develop its diamond exploration: in the Marafa, makarfi administrative region (Mining region 1), thirty (30) kimberlitic pipes have been discovered of which eight are show traces of diamonds. Some eight small diamonds have been picked in the makarfi administrative region ( kaduna ).
Precious stones consist of the following
Iron Ore, Bauxite and Manganese: significant resources present in Northern Nigeria but still unexploited. Northern Nigeria has according to estimates more than 2 million tonnes of potential iron ore reserves located in the areas of zuru, dakin gari.
Bauxite reserves are thought to be 1.2 million tonnes located in most part of north west. . Traces of manganese have been found in Saminaka
Other mineral resources and potential in Northern Nigeria
Calcarous rock deposits: 10 million tonnes est. ( Gangotery), 30 million tonnes ( Nord de Goundam) 2.2 Million tonnes est.
Copper: potentialities in most part of the region
Marble : azare( katagum) 10.6 MT estimated reserves and traces at gaide
Gypsum: Taoudenit ( 35 MT est.), and
Kaolin: Potential estimated reserves ( 1MT) located in jos ( Northern Region)
Phosphate: Reserve located at kebbi, production of 18,000 t/per annum and an estimated potential of 12 million tonnes. There are four other potential deposits in the North of 10 million tonnes.
Lead and zinc: ssalit in the Northern Region ( 1.7 MT of estimated reserves) and traces in rafing kowa sokoto ( Western Region)
Lithium: Indications in kaduna and his ( North Central and north Western Region) and estimated potential of 4 million tonnes kwande
Bitumen schist: Potential estimated at 870 million tonnes, indications found in bama in the Northern Region.
Lignite: Potential estimated at 1.3 million tonnes, indications found in bama/gwoza ( Northern eastern Region)
Rock Salt: Estimated potential of 53 million tonnes in gombe ( Northern Region)
Diatomite: Estimated potential of 65 million tonnes in jos ( Northern Region)
Northern Nigeria's Petroleum potential already attracting significant interest from investors

Northern Nigeria Petroleums potential has been documented since the 1970’s where sporadic seismic and drilling revealed probable indications of oil. With the increasing price of global oil and gas resources, Nigeria has stepped up its promotion and research for oil exploration, production and potential exports. Northern Nigeria could also provide a strategic transport route for Sub-Saharan oil and gas exports through to the Western world and there is the possibility of connecting the lake Chad basin to European market through Algeria.
Work has already begun to reinterpret previously gathered geophysical and geological data collected, focussing on five sedimentary basins in the North of country including: Kaduna, Borno, Jos, Sokoto, kebbi, zamfara, Gombe, benue, and jos

So here we have it

Whatever is reported by the mainstream media, the goal of this new war coming is no other than stripping yet another country of its natural resources by securing the access of international corporations to do it. What is being done now in Nigeria through bombs and bullets is being done to Ireland, Greece, Portugal and Spain by means of debt enslavement.

Finally
God help any country and its people with natural resources to be exploited. We want out and we want igbos to park out ASAP!!!

I know the Nory has substantial amounts of solid minerals. But your oil claim is false. Unless there is a concerted effort to hid it which makes no sense. The presence of oil will tip the balance of power. It is a trump card that cannot be hidden.
