Sanchase:Not plane crash victims o, Almost impossible... This Airlines have comprehensive Insurance companies backing them up.. It's one of requirements for airline operation In any event of Crash/casualty, all victim's next of kin are compensated HANDSOMELY.. I think DANA airline paid each victim's family the sum of 6 million Naira (I'm not very sure) Any survivor will most likely get a full life time sponsorship either from the insurance company, Government or concerned individuals.. Do you know what it means to survive a fatal Plane crash? I'm not talking about a private jet situation.. I mean a Commercial plane, carrying dozens of passengers.. Baba, your life will be assured, plus endorsements.... Kechi most likely, have been on scholarship since 2005.... |

Exactly surviving a commercial plane crash is almost impossible and the stakes must really be high especially in developed countries to avoid the victim selling unwanted stories to the press. Those days 6 million then is equivalent to 35 million or more now which was quite a reasonable sum but its nothing compared to the trauma and permanent bruises. Mcowubaba: 1 Like |

Mcowubaba: You have absolutely no idea the person you're talking about. And you equally do not know the person you're quoting or how he relates to her. Google will not help you, many of its information are untrue. By the way, the amount paid to plane crash victims in Nigeria cannot even finance a session at University of St Thomas where she attended. Do you even know how long it takes for the payment to be made? Do you even know the number of years it took Kechi to return to school after her crash? Do you even know she had to go back to high school in America before going to the university, as she had not written wassce before the crash? Why would you think Nigerian government will shoulder her financial responsibilities; you think they are that nice? Do you know how she had to solicit for funds from the public for the Msc she is currently doing?
