Oyinbos are building bridges of unity and oneness with blacks. This led to an Obama becoming the president of US. All we hear here is Afenifere, afonja, Arewa, massob, ipob, instead of uniting, we are harrasing ourselves. There is strenght in diversity. If the oyinbo man can accept and give their daughter to a black who they were reffering to as monkey before, then I think it is high time for us to let peace reign. The problem of Nigeria are the politicians. If biafra goes with this same igbo policians, they will soon begin to prefer staying in naija. The problem of igbo are the self centered politicians who have turned the country to their business. Instead of fighting for their people, they are fighting for themselves, their families and generation unborn.. sar33: 2 Likes |

BLoomfrancs: Wow!! Wow! Wow! Boostdom you are always concerned about the negative things that are being said about whites when this is where your concern and loyalty should be. Clean up your own back yard before you come at me for saying the truth about whites. Techno66 this is the unity and oneness you should strive for, the unity of Nigerian people not some damn white man black man unity. Disgusting, disgraceful and shameful. I have Yoruba and Igbo friends and this pisses me off. Bloomfrancs, tribalism is a bytch, it makes you just as hateful as white people even worse. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Nobody: 7:41pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
khiaa: Khiaa, what you talmbout? I'm always concerned about negativity anywhere they apply, especially ones that are needless. It is natural to have tribal vituperations on a forum like this because the target audience are tribal in reasoning but is it natural to have persistent racial prejudices on a largely uniracial website? I am not coming at you, I'm criticizing your arguments. Why you feeling some type of way, lol? |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Tecno66: 7:48pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
khiaa:with due respect, an Obama could not have been president of the US 40 or 50years ago. A white girl agreeing to marry a black guy would have been disowned by her parents. If you think my thoughts are delusionary to justify the hate campaign and separatist ideology presently taking place among nigerians, then accept my apology. If nigeria tears apart, I guaranty you that the part of the country where I come from will not lag behind. |

boostdom: There are many many threads on nairaland that are opposed to whites and see them for who they are just like there are whites on nairaland that curse and degrade africans, why aren't you condemning them? |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Nobody: 8:07pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
khiaa: I condemn and criticise opinions that lack critical thinking irrespective of the spectrum. I can only condemn the threads I see. I am no longer that invested on Nairaland. I am a simple man who is busy in the real world. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by khiaa(f): 8:14pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Tecno66: 1. Obama was no more than the white man's token, he did nothing for the black community but he did alot for the gay and lesbian community. 2.So being able to marry a white girl is some kind of black man achievement. White girls have been marrying black boys for decades now and she do not need her parents approval to do so. If her parents approved fine, if her parents disapproved that was fine also because she was going to do what she wanted to do anyway, there's nothing special or new about that. 3. I called you delusional because you have to be to believe that whites want unity with blacks to the point that they are building bridges to achieve it. Lol Maybe delusional was the wrong word to use, I should have said wishful thinking. |

khiaa:Eerr... I think you will find that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. perhaps you should have been confident enough to show us how gorgeous you are and if you are more gorgeous than she is i will give you a Gold medal myself personally. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by khiaa(f): 8:50pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
gypsey: How I look has nothing to do with your opinion of her. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you see her as gorgeous and I see her as facially challenged. I just wanted to know if you were being funny. No biggie. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Nobody: 9:09pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
khiaa: Look Khiaa, I criticize the reasoning in your argument not the race. Look, back in the day, I used to strut through the culture section (that is where the juice was) with my different monikers, going back and forth with the racial arguments. . .basically, we were rehashing shiiit. I was spending valuable time trying to get my point across, internalising all that emotions in the process. I had to step back and reexamine myself. I have lived with people of different race and creed and have realised that there will always be stupid and ignorant people, does that mean I have to correlate these ones as the metric for others? No, that will be irrational. There will always be stupid people irrespective of race, as exemplified by the tribalism on this site. That is the psychic fuel that should engender your dialectics. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by khiaa(f): 9:28pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
boostdom: I don't see how you can rationalise in your mind that their behavior isn't based on race or the color of their skin when they are the ones who created racism and devided the United States on race and skin color. The more things change the more they stay the same. Don't give me this crap that you lived with them like that proves some point. I been around them all my life and I have them in my family so I know the backstabbing, untrustworthy, lying racist they can be. Always thinking they're better than everyone else. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Tecno66: 9:41pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
we have left the substance and now chasing shadows. I used all these analysis which you are querying to make a case that we as a nation should put a stop to the obvious hatred for one another that has taken the front burner. Here in nairaland, you see ibo insulting yoruba and vice versa. Insults all over the place, people insulting people they do not know, some insulting their father's mate without knowing, others insulting their lecturers, bosses etc. I have been called a nitwit today. People have become saucy and intolerant. The hatred we now have for ourselves is unpresented. That is why I brought my analysis to help us move forward only for you to rubbish my analysis most likely because you have sympathy for "to your tenth o Israel". If anyone things if nigeria splits, that a part will suffer, the person is in a dreamland. The lazy parts will brace up and do the needful afterall the various regions were self sustaining before oil was discovered. khiaa: |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Nobody: 9:50pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
khiaa: Isn't that irrationality the element for their stupidity? If their behaviour is based on race, what is the basis on which the blackman extends the same or worse form of abuse on his fellow blackman? There was a study that showed intolerance is relatively more pronounced among people at the lower rung of the society, far removed from the academic or intellectual environment. Khiaa, an impotent man will always find an excuse for his inadequacies. The history of racism shows it was just a means to an end: It was the capital for capitalism. Racism was introduced as an ideology to justify racial subjugation. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by khiaa(f): 11:10pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
boostdom: True but you write as if racism is an issue of the past. What really gets me about people on Nairaland is the fact that they are so hateful towards each other but tell the truth about the evils of white people, then they put on their suit of armor and suddenly become Captain Save A Racist. |
Re: Yoruba Man Weds Oyinbo Lady In US, Oyinbo People Rock African Attire by Nobody: 1:09am On Jun 28, 2017 |
