1960s television series 'Batman' star Adam west
lost life on Friday night at the age of 88 in Los Angeles.

The actor died after a brief treatment for leukemia told a
representative to Variety.

“Our dad always saw himself as The Bright Knight, and
aspired to make a positive impact on his fans’ lives. He was
and always will be our hero,” his family said in a statement.

West worked as an actor until death. He did voice work for
animated prjects that included Family Guy- in which he
played himself and Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders.
