I don't expect students from these secondary schools to attend any Nigerian public university. They either go abroad or attend a private university. But one thing I notice about them is they have better command of English language, they're exposed but are not usually as academically brilliant as their counterparts in public or low paying secondary schools. 256 Likes 11 Shares |

I'm not tryna hate, but i hope those children wont need University education. After paying so much, we end up breeding foolish leaders 43 Likes 1 Share |

Comprehensive research. Was expecting to see only Lagos and Abuja schools here (and hoping to call you out for it , but seeing Hillcrest justifies your list. Some commentators here have hinged on students from these schools not being more intelligent than their counterparts from less-paying schools. While I agree, I must also say that students from these schools tend to generally be more refined, urbane and exposed than their counterparts from other schools. They also have the advantage of networking with peers from elite and wealthy families, as well as exclusive priviledges: for instance Hillcrest facilitates very easy admission to American universities for its graduands. Leave talk, as far as I get the money and the school is worth the hype, nothing is too much for my kids. 40 Likes 3 Shares |

I see loyola jesuit on the list. That school is filled with geniuses, the smartest children in Nigeria all go to that school. That's the only school that merits all the money. It's the only ivy league prep school in Nigeria. Damn this just gave me an idea. 35 Likes 1 Share |

Monef, TopFaith, Hallel College, Bloombred etc are cheap then. Well, I'm expecting to see the "they will write WASSCE", "are they learning everything?", "I'll never send my kids to these schools even if the money is there", "they are politicians' children", "they don't teach them manners there" crew. Well, quality education does not come cheap. Procreate to the number of children you can afford. BTW, where's Grange School? 9 Likes |

UnimkeAk: Public institutions are degrading daily. Parents who went to public schools would not send their kids to same schools they attended. Ditto parents of tomorrow. Ten years from now, Covenant University will be Nigeria's Harvard. 19 Likes 1 Share |
