A peacemaker is someone that takes it as a responsibility to bring peace to conflict between two or more people. A peacemaker is also someone that allows peace to reign even though it may cost him much. The scriptural concept of peace making is the redemption man. Christ redeemed us that we may be children of God. We were once enemy of God but Jesus as a peace maker came to build up that relationship, even though it cost him his suffering, shame and His life.
