At the 50th anniversary of Lagos, Governor Fayose of Ekiti was well noticed. In several fora where governors of the Southwest converge, he was present. Recently, He went with notable Ekiti Indegenes to visit Governor Aregbesola on Petrol supply related issues in Ekiti state.

Most recently Governor Fayose has also declared June 12 a public holiday, joining other states like Ogun Oyo and Lagos in the declaration. Fayose claims he's doing that for the unity of the Yorubas/Southwest.

Many people have claimed that he's looking for a soft landing. Many have also claimed that he's trying t identify with the APC, especially after he sponsored a newspaper greeting for the Jagaban himself on the latter's last birthday, a claim Fayose has refuted.

What could actually be Fayose's agenda?

He's not being adulterous politically. He's stubborn but very wise and will not forget his origin. That's Nigerian politics for you....

He's a Yoruba man before APC or PDP. Only fools forget their orisun because of an association that'll change identity tomorrow. I commend his wisdom

Op LAGOS at 50 that is celebration for all not APC rally ground, so FAYOSE And others can celebrate with lagos state.

While I salute him for reaching out and professing unity, I still believe he has a plan.
