Igbo Quit Notice: Kano Police Commissioner Vows To Protect Igbo Residents by Samusu(m): 11:08am On Jun 13, 2017 |
Kano State Commissioner of Police, Rabi’u Yusuf, has assured Igbo residents in the state of maximum protection in the face of the ongoing agitations by some northern youth groups to evict them from the north. He made the promise in a statement issued on Tuesday through the command's spokesperson DSP Magaji Majiya. In a meeting with the leadership of Igbo community on Monday the CP vowed to protect Igbo like every other Nigerian living in the state. “The meeting is to assure you of the commitment of the command toward ensuring safety of your lives and properties as every other Nigerian living in the State,’’ Yusuf said. He urged them to remain calm, and continue to go about their businesses lawfully and live peacefully with other ethnic groups. Responding to the gesture, the Eze Igbo Kano, Dr Boniface Ibekwe expressed gratitude to the commissioner for summoning the meeting. Ibekwe also extolled the virtues of the people of Kano State, saying they are tolerant and well-mannered toward other ethnic groups living in their midst. He called on all Igbos and other ethnic groups in the state to remain calm “as Kano remains our state of origin where most of our children were born and brought up’’. He also urged them to continue to pursue their legitimate businesses without fear of harassment. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/igbo-quit-notice-kano-police-commissioner-vows-to-protect-igbo-residents/201646.html

Is it the Nig police that have killed more than those they have protected ? Well, anything that will fast tract disintegration of this country is welcome development. I have said this several times that this ultimatum is a blessing in disguise. I still don't know why some old men who cannot even command respect in their villages went to plead on behalf of those who don't give a fucck about. If they cannot give sit at home order like IPOB have done, then, they are nobody in Igbo land and they represent no one. THIS CONTRAPTION MUST TEAR INTO PIECES !!. 1 Like |

Lies. Our memory will not fail us to forget the corpers that were mobbed to death right inside police station when Buhari lost the election in 2011. The corpers ran into the police station for safety but the jihadist pursued them there and killed them all. About 2,000 lives were lost in that single attack. The police just made the statement for diplomacy. They don't have your interest at heart. So, please flee for your life. |
