The northern ultimatum issued by the youth wing of the Arewa forum cited the silence of Igbo elites, politicians and other stake holders from the region and indifference to condemn the secessionist agenda spearheaded by IPOB as one of the reasons why the threat of expulsion was handed down to Igbos residing in the north.

Let me state here that no SE politician or any group mandated to speak on behalf of the Igbo people should offer any form of apology on behalf of the Igbo nation over the activities of IPOB.

Was it not this same northern elite who have since refused to condemn Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen?

Rather, the north has been reeling out daft conspiracy theories linking the activities of Boko Haram to the Goodluck administration roping in CAN as the main sponsors of Boko Haram.

Or have we forgotten how the same north came out to tell us that the Fulani herdsmen causing havock over the land are not Nigerians?

Or how about El Rufai who went as far as stating that he had located and contacted the militia commanders in a far away country and has paid them off to stop killing southern Kaduna Christians .

Or what about the very current president who stated unequivocally that "a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the north"?

Igbos do not have to explain or defend the activities of IPOB neither are they to make apologies for the group.

Simple.

Close your mouth, apolo... what? You think you're dealing with fools, you want Igbos in Nigeria, without giving them a fair share of Nigerian state?

You are right bro.
Thankfully the ones who went to North to discuss their problems are not known in Biafraland.

John Nwodo stated categorically that he can't do anything about the agitation, until the issues that caused the agitiations are addressed.

Let everyone keep his card close to his chest, nothing there to loose.

Besides, IPOB is not doing anything illegal . All their activities have been peaceful and are protected in the constitution so why should the Igbo elite condemn a peaceful movement ?

I have not of recent seen any Igbo elite do so, for a fact, one Igbo politician said they are losing control of Igbo youths. I am telling you for a fact that IPOB control the narratives now, and it will be suicide speaking against them.

Agitations are legal, IPOB is a legal organization, anybody saying otherwise is displaying lunacy.
