recently, the directorate of general studies of the university of uyo gave out topics for the final lap of term paper series.
i have taken time to write on one of the topics titled : 'a description of a typical marriage ceremony in your locality.


the most ancient of all the ethnic groups in the country, the Kwa speaking Benue-Congo group known as the Ibibio’s are a fashionable tribe largely situated in Akwa Ibomstate.

With modernization sweeping through the country, arranged marriages between young couples may seem unusual, however, it is a practice that still runs among the Ibibios.
