The state of our dear country needs urgent intervention of all youth both home and abroad. My today’s message goes to those of us that live outside Nigeria. We need to wake up to the responsibility of finding a lasting solution to the consistent problems in our country.

The exposure and experience we have all gathered in various developed countries we are should be used to develop our country. Recently, seven Nigerians were selected and elected as Member of Parliament in Britain and that shows the impact Nigerians are making in various countries they are.

Check most government parastatals and big private companies all over the world, Nigerians are known to be one of the best. We are doing great outside our home country because we are given opportunity to contribute and display our talents. Nigeria leaders need to have a rethink. Capable youths need to be given opportunity to contribute in the smooth running of the Nigeria system of government.

It is high time we allowed fresh blood to be part of the system because this recycling process of government needs to stop. Youths are now being recognized across the countries and they are being given opportunity to rule and assume leadership positions. Nigeria also needs to follow suit. And to my fellow youths, let us go back home and develop our land. We shouldn’t wait until other countries refuse to give Nigerians the right to become citizens of their countries.

Let us all come together and rescue our country. Let us stop talking and walk the talk. Let us have an open meeting with our leaders. The glory of Nigeria should be our pride. Let us make it work so that we can be bold enough to be called Nigerians anywhere we find ourselves in the world.

Also, to my fellow youths in Nigeria, I know you are all fed up of the situation and how to help the country is the major challenge. We can do this together. We want all youths to join us in one voice to make an impact. Let us have Youth National meeting with our leaders to demand our rightful positions.

To the Nigeria Leaders, give opportunity to the youth. Start showing us how you have been running the country for over 60 years, maybe our little knowledge can help. Every position in the country has vice or deputy. They need to start giving those deputy positions to the youth so as to show us around and see where we can contribute. We can all make Nigeria great.
