A cassava thief was caught yesterday in a remote village in Akwa Ibom State and was stripped by the youths of the village. He was also paraded around the village as a warning to any other villager who have intension of indulging in criminality in the village. Though he was not lynch,he was asked to eat the raw cassava tubers.

He was later asked to be release by the Village Head of of the village. The village head thereafter sound a serious note of warning to all villagers that he and his cabinet will not in anyway condole any manner of criminality in his domain.

So what happens to the big thieves, the politician's? They are being celebrated right? It is well.

can you see our problem.. How many of those politicians have be paraded naked on our street for embezzling our country money. Rather we celebrate them because we benefit from it. But this man who was hungry because he could not afford to provide for himself is been paraded naked. Mean while our leaders have embezzled all the food living us with nothing to live on rather food from the dust bins. This is just a food for thought.

Oga, civilised countries do have proper planning and good economy so hunger isn't an option except if you are naturally lazy. so oyinbo man wont have to go into another's farm to steal cassava.

this young man mum is from that village,oruk uso in ikot ekpene, he is a carpenter,I don't know what pushed him into stealing casava,if not for the village head interference angry mob would have lynched him at aya road,I trust ndito ikot ekpene owo isi idiaha ndisime,it was to shameful the worst thing was, is like is up to six years he didn't do shaving of nwa mfed,you need to see nwa mfed resembling afonja dada.

He did not even take small to eat. He filled one sack. Cassava wey like to stay long before e reach to chop.
