Nigerian striker,Henry Onyekuru is delighted to have signed a five year deal with English Premier League side,Everton.


Onyekuru becomes the third player signed by coach Ronald Koeman after the club confirmed Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford this off season.

A deal for Spanish star Sandro Ramirez is also in line as well for the Toffees.

He will also become the fifth Nigerian player to represent the club when he makes his debut after Joseph Yobo, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Victor Anichebe and Hope Akpan.

"I feel very happy and delighted with this move to Everton," Onyekuru told Everton TV.

He also wrote via his Instagram page @c.henry21: "#thankful"

Onyekuru who will complete his £7m move to Goodision Park on Friday after passing medicals will be shipped out on loan to Belgian Champions Anderlecht for the 2017/18 season, where he is expected to gain more experience, and continue his development.

Nigeria international was the top scorer in Belgium's Super League last season with 20 goals for KAS Eupen.

Henry Onyekuru banged in 23 league goals for KAS Eupen this past season plsss... not 20goals. He was the joint-top scorer in the league too.

And overall he had 25 goals in all competitions for them.

This is a good move for another of Nigeria's brightest prospects.
Hoping the likes of Kayode secure a good move soon. Same for Moses Simon... who is linked to some clubs like Monaco. Also wanna see Iheanacho's transfer brouhaha settled... so many clubs in for him but man city and pep are holding out because of terms surrounding buy back clause and issue of replacing Nacho.



Anyway, reports say he (Henry) will dorn the no. 9 shirt at Anderlecht while out on loan for the 2017/18 season where he will gain Champions league experience and more league experience with Anderlecht.

He will earn between 38,000-40,000 pounds a week. That should help his work permit points ahead of January 2018 or latest the start of the 2018/2019 season.


Everton really stole a march on West-ham Utd, Birmingham, and even Arsenal for this deal.
