Following from the resignation of the Chairman of Etisalat Nigeria, Hakeem Bello-Osagie and the CEO, Matthew Willsher, Boye Olusanya has been chosen to be the CEO of the company during the transition period.

Mr Boye Olusanya is currently the MD of Dancom Technologies, a subsidiary of Dangote Group. He was the once the Deputy Managing Director of Vmobile/Celtel now known as Airtel Nigeria.

Other appointments for the transition team include Joseph Nnana, a deputy governor of the Central bank who will now be the Chairman; Seyi Bickersteth, the national senior partner and CEO of KPMG Professional Services Limited.

Mr. Olusanya was one of the pioneer staff of Vee Networks at inception in February 2001. Mr. Olusanya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with an M. Sc in Environmental Civil Engineering from Liverpool University and another MSc. in Computer Science from Manchester University.

The transition agreement was brokered with the banks by the CBN and NCC.
