They spent trillions in budget every year since 2015 but we are still in recession?
They say that they have recovered billions of dollars from corrupt people yet exchange rate has WORSENED from N200 that they inherited to N400.

there are so many underlying factors that determine what your exchange rate will be...but trust me with Jonathan's reckless spending and the collapse of oil price.....Jonathan in power would have been much worse..I am not holding brief for APC but we are better of without Jonathan

I thought Andela should be able to handle this and yes technology will fight corruption.


Imagine all companies loaded on the CAC platform linked with FIRS , PENCOM, state tax, NSE, SEC etc. With online access to all companies to update financial record on a monthly and annual basis.

Imagine an integrated online payroll database for the public sector.

Imagine approvals and work updates on capital projects ....

Each company has only one financials .

In Nigeria today the SEC, the NSE cannot even provide the financials of some public companies online. Public and private companies ought to have publicly available financials.

Until a right and truthful approach is directed towards corruption the govt will continue running in circles.
There are those mostly elites who have ripped Nigeria of its God given resources and converted them to their personal wealths for many years now,we know them there is no need mentioning names.
So much money was retrieved from abacha because he passed away ,then think of those who are still alive that have ripped the country massively.
When you chase out ghost workers you deceive yourself by thinking you are fighting corruption ,you still have a problem in your hands because those people must survive and will fall back to something whether legitimately or illegitimately just to stay alive
