The commissioner of women affairs in Zamfara state, Balkisu Ibrahim Bungudu has been accused of punishing a hungry orphan at an orphanage home for telling the media that they get fed with little or no food.

According to IG Wala, the commissioner was initially accused of corrupt practices but she denied the allegations, saying the children in the orphanage home are being served the best meal.

Report reaching says, after the Hon. Commissioner Balkisu Ibrahim Bungudu debunked the corrupt practices allegation against her, some media houses in Zamfara advanced their findings by way of getting across to the orphanage home to interview some boys. The Commissioner, in her interviewed outrightly described the meal being served in the orphanage as the best ever. But, one of the boys told the media that sometimes they sleep without eating or with just little. Base on that statement, report says, the Commissioner Women Affairs Zamfara instructed they should punish the boy which they ended up inflicting injury on him. See photo attached. OP, abeg where the brutalised boy? Because all I see is a young boy with fresh injury on his right hand, and these sign he was even rough handled less speak of brutalised.

this allegations looks baseless... no pictures putting the commissioner at the scene... no vehicles around?...just a lone boy and bloggers decide to write from their own imaginations.... what a country.
