Embattled Senator Dino Melaye failed on Thursday July 6 in his bid to stop the ongoing recall process by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The Nation reports that Justice John Tsoho in an ex-parte ruling rejected Melaye’s motion for a temporary injunction restraining INEC from proceeding with the recall process until the determination of suit challenging his recall. He filed an ex parte motion on a matter dats already pending before the courts and Until dat issue is resolved before the court can listen to his motion.. 3 Likes |
