I plan to do something similar on my genset starter battery (12Vdc 7Ah) to keep it healthy and charged as it runs once a quarter.
Options:
A. Get a Victron Orion 48v to 12v DC/DC converter and a timer to switch it on twice a month for 30 mins
B. Get an old laptop charger and connect it to the pv input of a charge controller. The same timer will switch on the laptop charger as above.
C. Replace the genset starter battery with Lithium equivalent and charge once a year.
D. Replace the timer switch above with a Victron BMV 712 from ojeysky and switch based on SOC or voltage.
E.

Any more suggestions will be appreciated.

Just connect a small 12v 1amp solar panel with an inline diode to the battery to trickle charge it. I think that may suffice.

My community has light supply 7pm to 8am everyday,so I need a small inverter I can use for atleast 8-10hrs when there's no light...I'm a corp member somewhere in Bayelsa so I'm looking for a good small inverter that can just charge my laptop, phone and Bluetooth speaker.

Any suggestions please?

I have used eapro 500w pure sine wave Indian inverter for 28k

The part I wanted to see is the ends of the rails as shown in the pictures you attached. Many thanks.

Why did you leave that space between the roof and the back of the solar panels ?

If I remember correctly, after mctrinity showed me the picture and I inquired from aluminium guys, the name of the profile is O-8, that's O for orange.

Please help recommend quality and affordable 60A MPPT (will prefer one with equalization function, if available).

Most times, installers dont tell people about these Controllers/Equalizer, perhaps because of initial setup cost. But I think it's better to do them from all info have been reading online.
go for suoer CC one of d best now has everything u need no mppt 80k

And I'll still be able to set solar as a priority with this set up?
yes you can 100%

If it's a 60A CC and it's not MPPT, I will say it's quite pricey

I have a prag 2.5kva inverter and 2 150ah Ritar batteries connected in series, but I've noticed a large gap in voltage on both batteries. When fully charged but with grid power on, one reads 14.22v while the other reads 13.45v.

When load is put on it there's almost a 3v difference as I've noticed one go below 10v while the other is still on 12.45v.

I have a 24v balancer hooked up to the system and both batteries are brand new, same batch and production dates.

What could be responsible, cos I've never since this before, but when separated each battery charges to 14.5v and maintains a relatively good voltage but when put together the wahala starts......

What is the function of the 24V balancer? Is there a 48v balancer for a 48v system? How much are balances?

Someone expressed interest in my current 200AH LFP bank some time ago but I can't seem to find the post. It should be available from next week for 400k pere, you can reach me on whatsApp.
Current status:

1. 16 by 105 cells

2. It's deepest discharge I have done is 170AH

3. Its currently at about 150cycles or less. From the picture you will see 85cycles but I installed the BMV about 3months of usage.

4. Procured early this year, around Feb/march.

5. It has a reset button incase you do a deep discharge and trip the BMS but that button no longer works. So if your BMS trips, you will need to wake it up by charging from utility source the Daly BMS does not wake up by solar charging in hybrid systems unless you are using an external CC

I have attached some pictures for your reference

Cool and how is the performance after that and does the power reduce over time? There was a time my 219t freezer developed a fault and stopped working, I called a technician to fix it (or so I thought) unfortunately since then, the freezer has been on high freezing consuming over 250w. I just resolved to utilize my fridge more.

Okay I am now looking for a freezer to replace my current 219t which I really loved but I guess it's time to give up on it.

So I am trying to decide between thermocool and LG inverter freezers both are at similar range in terms of price but thermocool is bigger. I know @ceaser got the thermocool inverter freezer sometime ago, has been your experience? Anyone using the LG inverter freezer can also help here.

charge rate hovered between c5 and c10 in some instances and discharge rate was between c12 and c50
all depending on the time of day and equipment in use.

Nice....thanks baba

Thermocool HTF-200HAS you'll hardly notice the surge and even working power is low.

I want to do a small setup for my shop/store.
I'll only be using led bulbs and maybe a single fan.

What type of inverter and battery should I buy for this? Thank you
