In The typical Man kidnaps himself scenario, the anti- kidnapping squad team has swooped in on a criminal who plotted his own kidnap in order to swindle his elder brother of a huge sum of money. According to a report, the suspect, a 58-year old man identified as Ufon Edet Udoh, connived with a friend to stage the crime and in the process demanded the ransom of N60m from his elder brother identified as Victor Udoh. As part of the plot, Udoh allegedly directed his accomplice identified as Paul Philip Okiemute to report his fake abduction to his boss at their workplace, as well as demand for the ransom.
