A Federal High court sitting in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city on Wednesday, July 19, ordered the temporary forfeiture of a $37.5m property at Banana Island area of the state owned by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.

According to the court papers presented on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the property, designated as Building 3, Block B, Bella Vista Plot 1, Zone N, Federal Government Layout, Banana Island Foreshore Estate, has twenty four (24) apartments, eighteen (18) flats and six (6) penthouses.
