Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN) is a federal government agency responsible for regulating teaching profession in Nigeria. TRCN is saddled with the responsibility of given professional certificate to the teacher education graduates across all levels from NCE holders. How relevant is this certificate? Any consequence if a graduating B. Ed student does not register for it? Practising teachers, were u asked this certificate before u get employed? Is it true it's more expensive after graduation? B. Ed TRCN cert is N10k now. If u have d cert, do u renew it annually? I learnt from next year, applicants for d cert will be writing qualifying exams before they are awared d cert. How true?
