WORKING FOR OR AGAINST GOD
Read Acts 9:1-9
MEMORISE
With goodwill doing service, as to the Lord and not to men. (Ephesians 6:7)

So many people (Christians) today think they are being zealous for God but God is not seeing them working for Him. A larger percentage of people who called themselves servants of God, supposedly doing the work of the Kingdom are actually doing it for their own belly (Rom. 16:18).
Saul of Tarsus, a Jewish convert on his way to Damascus, to arrest and extradite Christians back to Jerusalem, was confronted by the One whom he was persecuting—Christ. He thought he was working for God; he used all his zeal to do what seems right before him, but alas, he was working against God.
It is a major accident today in the vineyard of God, when we see those who claim to be working for God, involving themselves in unrighteous deeds and still claiming that we are in the era of grace. Remember the children of Aaron that offered strange fire before the Lord, what was the consequence? (Lev. 10:1). What are your attitudes towards the children? How do you feel when people are going on evangelism? When last do you identify with the widows/orphans?
As a child of God, worker in His vineyard, Minister of the Gospel, are you truly and sincerely working for God? Consider the way and manner in which the people of old served and worked for God. Are you following their footpath. You cannot work for Him, if you are not doing His will. Examine yourself, God cannot be mocked.

PRAYER POINTS
1 Lord, I refuse to be an instrument in the hand of Satan
2 Help me O lord to work for You the way You have designed it in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, help your church to rise to the call You have called with, and in sincerity of heart in Jesus’ name.
