The Athletics Federation of Nigeria on Tuesday named 12 athletes for the 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championships in London with the squad headed by United States-based duo Blessing Okagbare and Tobiloba Amusan.

Missing from the list are sprinters Divine Oduduru and Ogho-Oghene Egwero. The competition, where Jamaican sprinting legend Usain Bolt is scheduled to bring down the curtain on his glittering track career, will take place from August 4 to 13 at the 60,000-capacity Olympic Stadium in London.
