Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Senior Secondary Education Certificate, with specialized certification in Accounting and Finance.
University Degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration desirable, is an added advantage but it is not a requirement.
Experience:
A minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in finance, administration, budget preparation, budget monitoring and analysis are required.
Experience in UN/UNDP financial procedures is an asset. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, MS Publisher, etc.) is also required.
Experience in ATLAS, FOML and UMOJA systems will be considered a plus.
Experience of IPSAS and/or IFRS an asset. Knowledge of European Union financial procedures an advantage.

Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
Secondary Education, with specialized certification in Accounting and Finance.
University Degree in Finance, Business or Public Administration desirable, but it is not a requirement.
UNDP Accountancy & Finance Test required.
Experience:
6 years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience is required;
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems and ERP financials, preferably PeopleSoft;
Knowledge of IPSAS required;
