Tuesday 26th July, 2017 was a memorable day as members of the Federal Road Safety Corps Cross River Sector Command organised a programme at ODUKPANI Local Government area of cross river state. The programme is titled First Respondent to Road Traffic Crash victim. The programme which was held at the ODUKPANI LGA town hall had in attendance the youth leader and other members of his cabinet. The Sector Commander of FRSC Cross River Sector Command Corps Commander CHIDIEBERE NKWONTA who was ably represented by Assistant Corps Commander IV NWACHUKWU, welcomed all to the event and stated that road safety is every body's business thus, all hands must be on deck to ensure that Road traffic crash victims are given the required first aid needed before they are transfered to the hospital. The guest lecturer Mr Daniel Asuquo Of Nigeria Red Cross dwelt on the meaning of first aid, various first aid techniques and many more. Delivering the vote of thanks, the Youth Leader of ODUKPANI LGA Mr Ekpenyong Oqua thanked the FRSC for deeming it fit to organise such programme in their locality and assured of their unwavering cooperation.
